Nicholas Gamberini – reasons for my application

I became interested in violin making since childhood thanks to my grandfather, who was a violist. I started from his teachings and I continued as a self-taught until the end of university studies in Design, deciding then to approach professionally to this world, enrolling and attending the Bolognese school for two years.

The Academia Cremonensis gives me the opportunity to deepen the classic Cremona method, used by the greatest masters since ancient times, that I consider a fundamental knowledge; for this reason I considered this to be my ideal path.

Violin making is for me the theoretical study to be applied to the matter, creating the right balance between the two, so as to arouse emotions in everyone involved.
