“My father is a violin maker, and he owns a workshop in Taiwan. I have been interested in his techniques and his instrument works since I was a child, and I’ve always wanted to know more about violin building and bow making.
Recently, after spending some time in college, I’ve finally decided that it’s time for me to actually learn about violin making and the related techniques. Bow making seems to be a good starting point for me, according some research I did as well as my father’s recommendation.
I also hope that I can assist in my father’s work in the future, after dedicating myself to learning the art of bow making. Since Academia Cremonensis has some of the most excellent bow making course in the world, I really hope to join the two-year bow making professional course.”
